Seminar for 12 Guides from Madrid and Toledo

The Lorens guide training seminar took place this week at Cool Room Madrid. It brought together twelve guides from Madrid and Toledo. Experts from Complutense and Carlos III universities led the sessions. The participants delved into the connection between tourism and cinema, a key focus of the Lorens experience. Through case studies and analyses of iconic film shoots, they gained new tools. These will enhance their tours and further captivate their visitors.

From the seminar to the Museo Chicote in Madrid

The enthusiasm among the guides was undeniable, as they were thrilled to better integrate cinematic heritage into their routes. The event concluded at a legendary site in Madrid’s film history: Museo Chicote. Ava Gardner and Orson Welles were once regulars there. In this historically rich setting, discussions continued about the impact of cinema on the perception of cities. They reaffirmed Lorens’ ambition to offer unique cultural experiences.
